Powered by Badwolf

Our work with Badwolf Adventure Studios is taking a new shape with Powered by Badwolf. We will be announcing games in various venues around the Twin Cities that leverage the many partnerships Badwolf has while bringing new games to new audiences. Which games exactly? That's up to you!

You can fill out your preferences for days, times, venues, frequency, and game systems at our Quorum poll. Whichever campaigns meet our threshold will get locked in and added to the schedule.

Seats Available

There are two seats currently available online for Sjórseiðr (an Ars Magica campaign about seafaring wizards). It meets biweekly Saturdays, the next session is May 3rd. No prior experience with Ars Magica required.

There are three seats available for Banes of Beleriand (The One Ring campaign, set in Middle Earth between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings). This game meets biweekly at the Fox Den Board Game Cafe in Burnsville, Tuesdays at 6pm. The first session is May 6th. Please email Jordan to RSVP.

Focus Groups

We're continuing to run focus groups introducing audiences and demographics new to TTRPGs. Our goal is not to fight for the same audience of people already deeply engaging in roleplaying games, but rather to introduce people who have never even heard of the concept and make it welcoming to them. A report on the findings will follow later this year.

Backerkit Print Update

Speed Run is complete and we're just reviewing the print files before pressing print! We might not have stock quite in time for Wednesday but by the end of this week we'll be in fulfillment.

Minneapolis Love

Jordan was accepted into the local MB Mentors program for business owners in Hennepin County, as part of a cohort of graduates from the CEO Now program.

Sortilege is working with New Publica and Whipsmart through the ELEVATE Hennepin program, and will be applying for a physical space through Vibrant Storefronts Uptown.

Gametime Hero

We have been collaborating with Gametime Hero to create a Sortilege community that we can schedule and organize events through. We're still working out a few issues, but are hoping to launch this early in the summer.

Other Collaborations

We are developing ideas around local venues (Oddmart, Volstead's Emporium, Queermunity, The Coven, Fox Den, The Wilderness, and others) as well as with partners (Renegade Game Studios, Leder Games), and hope to bring more of these to life through the summer as well.

May

May 3rd: Lowry Hill East Neighborhood Annual Meeting (12-2pm, Phoenix Theater). Free food and coupons available for future game nights.
