Report from GenCon25

It's been a couple months, you're overdue for some updates.

I (Jordan) am currently at GenCon in Indianapolis for the first time, running The Expanse and The Fifth Season for Green Ronin Games, and Fallen London for Magpie. If you're around, drop in and say hi!

Pack Tactics, the gamemaster seminar that Badwolf hosted last week, went really well; we had sessions on running games for kids, on utilizing improv techniques, and on using VTTs and other tools like Foundry, Alchemy, dscryb, and Arkenstone.

Speed Run, the Cy_Borg one-shot adventure that we launched on Backerkit earlier this year, will be shipping out as soon as I return from GenCon, but I have some physical copies with me, so if you prefer to meet up, reach out with a DM on Bluesky or Discord. It is also available digitally from itch.io, and there is a free PDF with a stack of pre-generated characters.

We're still working out the schedule through the end of the year, but coming up in September is ArkhamCon, and we'll have events at Volstead's on either side of it; tickets will be posted shortly on the linktr.ee.

Finally, I have to celebrate the article from Racket that featured Sortilege, as well as Dragons, Dungeons & Drinks and Badwolf Adventure Studios, talking about the development of paid GMing in the Twin Cities. Check it out if you haven't seen it yet.

We'll have an update in a couple weeks with the rest of the year's schedule and tickets; in the meantime, take care of yourselves.
